| This is a small selection of some previous assignments we have undertaken:
Commercial Consultancy for a major Shared Services Mobilisation GAFM was contracted by The National Policing Improvement Agency (NPIA), to manage the commercial aspects of the transition of all it's Facilities Management provision to a major Government Shared Services Contract. Comprising three central London office sites and a number of UK - wide residential training establishments, within exceptionally tight deadlines, the transition and mobilisation was successfully accomplished. Within this assignment, our main areas of responsibility were:
Procurement Management – Ministry of Justice (NOMS) Responsible for the Procurement and Contract management of major prison construction and refurbishment projects to the value of circa £460m (within a PPC2000 contract framework). This included the procurement of Professional Services to support the life-cycle management of the projects. Responsible included liaison with stakeholders regarding all commercial and procurement issues and the analysis and revision of all project tender documentation. Ensuring an exceptionally close working relationship with Project Sponsors, we were able to provide advice and expertise in all procurement and commercial aspects of these projects. The role also encompassed the total management of the pre-tender and post tender evaluation processes, contract variation, change control, commercial risk management and the identification and implementation of VFM opportunities.
Bid Consultancy services for Major Construction Companies We have provided bid consultancy to a number of major construction companies UK- wide, tendering for large new-build and refurbishment projects including new accommodation buildings, kitchen refurbishments, the re-roof and major refurbishment of leisure facilities and a new security control room and re-wire of the site. Following the clients' " Invitation to Tender", we evaluate the tender documentation advising the client accordingly (in writing and usually at a Client bid team meeting), work with the client in the production of their bid, then proof read and edit bid documents prior to final submission. We have also managed a number of “successful tender production” workshops for client bid teams and consultants. |  |
